Sensational price, great cuchillo.

Included in the cuchillo as a treat, impeccable hand and really sharpened. Lamentably, I could not decide on the retention of the film, but through experience I could decide that this cuchillo could be damaged without problems.

An excellent knife!

As the title says, this is an exceptional product for the price offered. It is a very beautiful object, and in addition it is very well balanced. The edge out of the box is razor sharp. In short, a score of 10/10. If I could put more, I would. Bravo to you and thank you.

Does the job!

I was looking for new knives in my lower budget before buying myself a high quality knife which is rather expensive, but I am really impressed with the quality and sharpness of the knife! I have used it for a week before posting a review, but I am really impressed as a chef for 8 years! The grip and handle are nice to hold and from the pictures shown I was able to chop a lot of basil without any issues as the knife cut effortlessly, great value for money for those looking for a good knife but not too expensive!

Excellent knife. The sharpest we have ever had in our kitchen 😊😊😊

My son is a professional chef, so when I needed a new chef's knife for my kitchen, I asked him for advice.
This SHANZU knife was chosen by him, and I am really happy to use it for several months now.
See my observations on this subject, and I hope it will help you make the right choice.

Arrived on time, the packaging is perfect and very pretty, I would say it could also be a wonderful GIFT  !
Now, about the knife.
👉 1. First impression. Incredibly well made, beautiful, elegant. Very comfortable handle, pleasantly heavy.

👉 2. The SIZE of the knife. It is VERY versatile.  ! I think the best choice for a WOMAN (like me) or a man with not too big hands, the best choice is 7 or 8 inches.

👉 3. TAKE GOOD CARE OF YOUR KNIFE
I am always very careful to read all the fine print regarding the technical specifications of knives.
This one is made of high carbon stainless steel. This type of metal is easier to sharpen, but it is also prone to rust, staining, and oxidation. High carbon steel blades are great in your kitchen, but you have to take good care of them!!! Always clean your knife thoroughly after use and WIPE it DRY!
As I've been told, you can do this with almost anything that contains acid: instant coffee, vinegar, potatoes — lots of things, but don't forget to wipe (polish) the blade. I bought a small microfiber cloth and use it just for this knife.
Once a week I oil the blade with a food grade mineral oil (the same one I use on my cutting board). This keeps the knife smooth and shiny!

👉 4. HANDLE - hygienic!!
I liked that the handle of this knife is made of stainless steel rather than wood. Steel handles are non-porous, meaning they do not absorb liquids, odors, or bacteria. This property makes them more hygienic and easier to clean than porous materials like wood.

✅. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. It is sharp, perfectly sized and very stylish, but remember that a high carbon steel blade requires you to constantly care for the knife (keeping it clean and dry, otherwise you risk stains and corrosion). GREAT KNIFE overall.

Big messer!!

Ich bin so glücklich mit diesem Messer, die Schärfe ist unglaublich – es gleitet einfach durch das Essen. Der Komfort und die Art, wie es in meiner Hand liegt, sind großartig. I'm happy with the Aussehen der Klingenkante. It's the big angle on the breast, but it's not the same thing, but it's not the case (but it's the current situation, it's the problem it's going to be) and it's not the same, it's in the Spülmaschine zu tun.

This is a good price to buy!!

Good all-purpose knife,

The clothes are scharf and schneidet Gemüse and Fleisch problemlos and präzise mit einem einzigen Schnitt, ohne zu reißen. The clothes should be worn on a long-term basis and should also be adjusted to your breast. Das Messer lies gut in the Hand and ist eine gute Ergänzung für jede Küche.

To clean and maintain your knife, it is best to follow these steps:First, clean the blade with warm water and dish soap. Be sure to rinse and dry the blade thoroughly to prevent rust.Next, use a sharpening steel to sharpen the blade.

Next, use a sharpening steel to sharpen the blade. This will help maintain the sharpness and ensure that the knife is in good working order.

If the blade is very dirty or has food stuck on it, you can use a soft-bristled brush to gently clean it. After cleaning and sharpening the blade, apply a thin layer of oil to the blade and handle. After cleaning and sharpening the blade, apply a thin layer of oil to the blade and handle, to prevent rust and keep the knife in good condition. Finally, store the knife in a safe, dry place away from heat and humidity. Finally, store the knife in a safe, dry place away from heat and humidity. A knife block or knife drawer organizer is a good option, as it will protect the blade and prevent accidents.

To sharpen a knife you will need a stone SHANZU sharpening tool or knife sharpener. To use a sharpening stone, first soak the stone in water for about 10 minutes. Then, lay the knife flat on the stone and tilt the blade so that it is at a 10- to 15-degree angle to the stone. Using long, steady strokes, move the blade back and forth across the stone, making sure to maintain the angle of the blade. After a few strokes, move the blade to the other side of the stone and repeat the process. You should sharpen the entire length of the blade, and you may need to repeat this process several times to achieve the desired level of sharpness.

What is Damascus Steel?

The origin of the name "Damascus steel" is controversial: two Islamic scholars, Al-Kindi and Al-Biruni (c. 800-873 CE), both wrote about swords and sword steels based on appearance, the geographical location of where they were produced or forged, or the name of the swordsmith. Both authors also mention the terms "damscene" or "damascus" when describing swords to some extent.

Based on these references, there are three possible sources where the term "Damascus" comes from in the context of steel:

Al-Kindi refers to swords forged in Damascus in Siberia as "Damascene," but it is important to note that these swords are not described as having a wavy appearance on the surface of the steel. Al-Biruni refers to a swordsmith named Damasqui who made swords from crucible steel. In Arabic, the word "damascus" means "watered," and Damascus blades are often described as having a water pattern on their surface.

The most common explanation is that the steel is named after the capital of Syria, Damascus, the largest city in the ancient Levant. The most common explanation is that the steel is named after the capital of Syria, Damascus, the largest city in the ancient Levant. This may be due to swords being made or sold directly in Damascus, or simply the appearance of the typical patterns, compared to damask fabrics, which are also named after Damascus.

What is German steel?

German knives are usually made of stainless steel, which has a Rockwell index of 56 to 58. Stainless steel contains chromium. This is what lowers the Rockwell index. The advantage is that the knife blade is resistant to corrosion and rust.

Chefs generally agree that German-style stainless steel knife blades are more durable than Japanese-style blades. Chefs generally agree that German-style stainless steel knife blades are more durable than Japanese-style blades. Its durability allows you to use it for more cutting and chopping tasks.

The softer characteristic of steel still allows for a sharp edge, but stainless steel will require you to hone and sharpen it more often. The softer steel also makes it easier to sharpen the blade, although a stainless steel blade means a German knife will lose its edge more quickly than its Japanese counterpart, which is made of high-carbon steel.
